Aaaand, we’re back!
After a brief hiatus from the winding concrete ribbons, we’ve returned to the road…having swapped steel horses from Subaru to Volvo.
Destination: Hines, Oregon.
I realize no one has ever uttered those words before, but there’s a bed-n-breakfast there called The Mill House, set in part of the historic Edward Hines Lumber Company building that looks interesting.
Look, the mileage worked out and the experience should at least be memorable if we don’t get murdered or into a bar fight…
Remind me to tell Steven to change out of his pink Bonobo shorts and into jeans before we go rustle up some dinner…
Having side-tracked to check out Shoshone Falls Park, the Niagara Falls of the West, we are stopping for lunch in Meridian, ID, at a place called Biscuit & Hogs.
ETA, 1:30pm…come join us for a steering wheel sized pancake if you’re in the area
